Dee-Chepsen Private Schools was founded in 2014 by Pastor Mrs. Ruth Ewa-Orun and Prophet Israel Ewa-Orun with a strong passion to provide quality, faith-based, and value-driven education to children within the community. The name “Dee-Chepsen” is a creative combination of letters from the founders’ children’s names, reflecting the school’s family-oriented roots and commitment to nurturing every child as their own.
The school began its journey modestly in the first term of 2014 with 13 pupils and few staff members and closed its first year with a total of 18 pupils. Today, Dee-Chepsen is blessed with dedicated staff members with strong and committed group of learners .
A major milestone in the school’s history was the first graduation ceremony in 2020, where pioneer pupils successfully completed their primary education. Initially operating only Nursery and Primary classes, the school has since expanded to include a Crèche, catering to a broader age range and demonstrating its commitment to meeting the evolving educational needs of its community.
From its humble beginnings, Dee-Chepsen Private Schools has remained steadfast in its pursuit of holistic child development — combining academics, moral upbringing, and a supportive learning environment — to prepare pupils for a lifetime of success.
